My Biography
I am a teacher of English
and I am also a musician. I was born in Antalya, Turkey, on the 29th of
November, 1982. My childhood passed in Antalya. I have started my career in
Antalya, as well. Later, I met Şerife Yurttaş and we got married. After that,
we moved to Serik, Antalya. After a while, I attended into NATO Commandership
in Mamak, Ankara, for my military duty. After I had completed my military duty,
I came back home. I have been living with my wife, Şerife Bulut, since then.
My Educational Background
Firstly, I started my
education at the Antalya İstiklal Primary School in 1988. In 1991, I transfered
to the Antalya Hacı Hafize Hakkı Saygan Primary School, and I graduated in
1993. Then, I went to the Antalya İstiklal Secondary School. I transfered to
the Burdur Merkez Secondary School in 1994, and I graduated in 1996. I started
my high school education at the Sivas Yıldızeli Pamukpınar Anatolian Teacher
Training High School in 1996. I transfered to the Isparta Gönen Anatolian
Teacher Training High School in 1997. I transfered to the Antalya Aksu
Anatolian Teacher Training High School in 1998, and I graduated in 2000. I
started to study at the Adana Çukurova University Education Faculty English
Language Teaching Department in 2001. I graduated from the Çukurova University
in 2005.
My Professional Background
I started my career at
the Antalya Alanya Alara Şevket Demirel Primary School as the Teacher of English
in 2005. After I worked there for 18 months, I was appointed to the Antalya
Serik Tekeli Primary School. I have been working at the Antalya Serik Tekeli
Primary School since then.
My Musical Background
In fact, I don’t remember
exactly when I started to make music because I had played my first instrument
when I was five or six. When I played my first songs, I still hadn’t started my
primary education. I think that all of them are the advantages of being the
child of a music-origined family. Music has always been the most entertaining
and the most colourful thing in my life. If I were alone on a desolate island,
the first thing, which I want it to be with me, would be an instrument. Except
for my military duty, I couldn’t live for a week without music. The first
instrument that I have learnt to play is bağlama ( It is one of the Turkish
original instruments, in English: String Plucked Instrument ). Later, I have
learnt to play the electronic organ, the piano, the classical guitar and the
acoustic guitar. Playing and singing wasn’t enough for me. I started to give
private courses related to the basic music education, the electronic organ, the
guitar and the bağlama after I improved my technical knowledge sufficiently. My
first melody occured in 1998. I have composed many songs and written many
lyrics since then. I participated in many professional music organizations
since 1996. I still practise to increase my repertoire and to learn new things
as long as I have opportunity even if I have improved myself at playing
instruments sufficiently. If I need to talk about my music preference, I like
all the works which are qualified and pleasant. You can listen to my own songs
